The works are to be undertaken on behalf of South Dublin County Council and include the construction of a public park of approximately 10,95 hectares. It includes significant earth work, drainage works, hard and soft landscape works, sport facilities, a building with changing facilities and cafe and specialised works (via a novated specialist) for playgrounds. It is also a requirement to realign the existing Tober stream so that it runs along the western boundary of the park. Some small pedestrian bridges are also required to be constructed over the stream.

The earth works include several cuts and fills along the site and earth shaping and moulding in order to meet the design levels on the footpaths, the pitch and the slopes as designed.
Landscape works include earth shaping, some retaining elements, fine cultivation, seeding with grass and wildflower seeds, planting of shrubs, trees, perennials and wetland areas. Hard landscape works include paving, walling and fencing, supply and installation of site furniture and signage.

Sport facilities comprise a full-size GAA all-weather pitch, a full size cricket ground, cricket practice areas, tennis courts and one storey building with changing facilities, equipment storage and a coffee dock.
