Dublin City Council wish to engage a Contractor to carry out 2,7 km of urban road reconstruction between Alfie Byrne Road and Talbot Street and 1 km of greenway through Fairview Park along the River Tolka.
Works will include but are not limited to:
โ€” upgrade and reconfigure signalised junctions,
โ€” construct new toucan crossings,
โ€” install DCC public lighting and CCTV infrastructure,
โ€” pavement construction,
โ€” granite and concrete paving and kerbing,
โ€” retaining walls,
โ€” drainage and water main works,
โ€” utility diversions,
โ€” protect existing utilities,
โ€” soft landscaping, including new trees,
โ€” street furniture,
โ€” road markings and traffic signs,
โ€” works on, near and over live rail lines and watercourses,

The 5 top-scoring Applicants who meet the minimum criteria for selection will be invited to tender in Stage 2 of this competition.

โ€” high quality granite paving and kerbing,
โ€” precast and in-situ concrete paving,
โ€” demolition of existing retaining walls,
โ€” drainage works,
โ€” watermain upgrades,
โ€” protection of existing utilities,
โ€” soft landscaping, including several new trees,
โ€” works on, adjacent to and over live rail lines,
โ€” works on or adjacent to the Royal Canal and Tolka River,
โ€” works on and adjacent to live carriageways in a heavily trafficked urban area,
โ€” works on, over and adjacent to underground cellars and basements,
โ€” traffic management including traffic diversions; and
