Saggart Reservoir site is a key strategic operational water transfer and storage facility. It comprises existing storage reservoirs and secondary chlorination plant from where water is distributed to other strategic service reservoirs in the Dublin region.
It is intended that the works will be implemented under a design and build contract.
Scope of works.
Works are now required at the existing Saggart site comprising the following:
- 100000 m3 covered storage comprising 2 cells with inlet and outlet chambers/buildings,
- Demolition to existing storage reservoirs,
- Pipeline connections to the new reservoir,
- On-Site โ€“Electrolytic Chlorination (OSEC) plant for secondary disinfection of all incoming supplies at the site,
- Site drainage,
- Site services,
- Site landscaping.
Full details of the scope of works will be set out in the ITT.
The contracting entity does not make any guarantee in regard to any contract award and/or volume or value of works to be procured.
