RFT for the provision of communication services to the office of the Data Protection Commissioner

Department of Justice and Equality

This public procurement competition relates to the provision of expert guidance and support to the office of the Data Protection Commissioner (DPC) in relation to its busy communications and media functions. The DPC is the independent national data protection authority for Ireland and the lead EU regulator of many large multinational internet and social media companies operating in the EU. The DPC is subject to significant scrutiny in the media, particularly, in an international context, and it is anticipated that this will continue to be the case as the new EU data protection legal framework comes into effect in May 2018. The successful agency will provide strategic advice and assistance in the coordination of the DPC's communications strategy (include proactive and reactive measures) across a range of stakeholders.

Deadline

The time limit for receipt of tenders was 2018-02-19. The procurement was published on 2018-01-12.
