The scope of this contract is for a single-supplier Framework Agreement covering the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for the analysis of natural gas samples for the determination of odorant concentrations.
The scope of contract required will involve providing suitably qualified personnel and appropriate laboratory and equipment for the following:
โ€” analysis of natural gas samples taken from the Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) network to determine odour content concentration and calculation of odour intensity (to include natural gas & biogas),
โ€” provide emergency out-of-hours odour intensity analysis when required,
โ€” sample capture and analysis of ground source natural gas concentrations surrounding buried gas pipelines,
โ€” sample capture and analysis of moisture within natural gas,
โ€” coordination of logistics for transportation of samples where required, and

Note - All samples must be analysed within 24 hours of the sample being taken. The aim is to maintain the integrity of the sample and results.
This service must be carried out in accordance with relevant gas industry/statutory regulations and complying with standards: ISO EN 17025:2017 and ISO EN 10715:2001 or equivalent.
Duration: 96 months
Description of options: Three (3) one (1) year extension options. 36 month extension options
