National Bridging Contract for the Storage and Distribution of Continence Products

Health Service Executive (HSE)

The HSE wishes to establish a national bridging contract with a suitably qualified service provider for the provision of a storage and distribution service for disposable continence products. In 2017, the HSE completed a tender process for a national contract for the storage and distribution of disposable continence products (Ref: HSE 7113). The HSE is currently precluded from executing this contract with the successful tenderer pending a decision of the High Court of Ireland in relation to a legal challenge to the outcome of this tender process.
The HSE reserves the right to proceed with the tender on the basis of Article 32.2 (c) based on extreme urgency. The HSE will make its best endeavours to meet the requirements of Directive 2014/24, including a standstill period but will prioritise the need to deliver services and product to patients in the event that full compliance risks patient safety.

Deadline

The time limit for receipt of tenders was 2018-01-09. The procurement was published on 2017-12-21.
