Iarnrod Eireann-Irish Rail
Iarnrod Eireann (IE) is seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates for carrying out Mast and Tower Maintenance and Inspection Services. There are approximately 140 Radio and 140 CCTV Masts and Towers on the IE telecommunications network. The IE telecoms tower infrastructure provides vital communications links to support the national transport network. There is also a third party facility provided for the mobile network operators at defined locations on selected towers. It is the responsibility of IE to maintain a record of the masts and towers including all associated equipment and to certify that they are structurally sound and safe to climb. IE wishes to engage the services of a contractor to carry out regular inspections and necessary maintenance on the masts and towers. It is proposed to establish a four year contract.
