The project was granted planning permission by An Bord Pleanala (Ref Nr: 03.HA0038) in March 2013. Applicants should note that the constraints study, route selection, preliminary design, Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), land acquisition procedures and obtaining planning permission have been completed for the project.
