The project consists of the demolition of the existing structures on site including the now derelict Crowโ€™s Nest public house and restaurant, four 2-storey dwellings at 1-4 Victoria Terrace and the existing machinery shed and yard.
The construction of a student accommodation building comprising approximately 255 student accommodation bed spaces and ancillary student support facilities at ground floor level including laundry, admin office, meeting room, and common rooms.
A medical facility/wellness center and 1 no. ancillary commercial/cafรฉ unit are also provided at ground floor level as well as:
โ€” 128 no bicycle parking spaces,
โ€” plant room, switch room and sub-station,
โ€” vehicular access,
โ€” foul and surface water sewers,
โ€” works to the public footpath,
