Provision of the services of an animator (i.e. implementation executive) to assist the Laois Tourism Board in implementing the strategy further development of the strategy services to the Board of Laois Tourism.

Publicity and public relations.
Event Management.
To work with and support Tourism Related Groups in the County e.g.
The Gordon Bennett Classic Car Committee.
The Laois International Golf Challenge Committee.
The Laois Garden Festival Committee.
The Downtown Traders Group (Portlaoise).
To promote Laois’s attractions and facilities.
Organise and work with groups/communities on special and seasonal events and festivals.
Carry out research on existing tourist attractions to gain customer feedback in order to make improvements.
