Short description:

Any contract that may result from this public procurement competition will be issued for a term of 6 months from 1.7.2017 to 31.12.2017. The contracting authority reserves the right to extend the term for a period or periods of up to 1 year with a maximum of 2 years, such extensions will be subject to agreed terms and conditions, and the contracting authority's obligations at law.

The contract involves the haulage of round logs from forest roadside to Smartply (Waterford), Medite (Clonmel) and other locations. This contract will also include all round-wood products, i.e. large and small sawlog, stake, firewood and energy-wood. Delivery of these products will be from forest roadside to a range of customers with collection and delivery outside of Coillte Business Area Unit (BAU) boundaries (BAU Map — Appendix A on Tender Document).

The estimated percentage/volumes to be delivered to each location is shown in Appendix D (on Tender Document).
