Quantity or scope

The Works comprise the design and construction of infrastructure including the associated testing, commissioning and proving of same and including the Taking-Over of the Works by the Employer. The Works can be summarised as including the following design and construction elements:— Kilbelin Pumping station — Civil and M&E works and 2 000 m3 storm tank.— Littleconnell Pumping station — Civil and M&E works and 1 800 m3 storm tank.— Newhall Pumping Station — Civil and M&E works and 1 800 m3 storm tank.— 4,980 m of gravity sewers (900 & 1 050mm diameter).— 3,174 m of rising mains (600 & 700 diameter).— Scheme tie-in at Osberstown WWTP.The services to be provided by the Contractor include but are not limited to the following:— Detailed design of all aspects of the facilities as required by the scheme— Preparatory works and construction facilities as required, including general clearance, construction of site and access roads and erection of security fencing— Construction of all required structures including tanks, foundation slabs, buildings etc. and including any necessary piling, rock anchoring or other construction techniques— Construction of the waste water rising mains, and sewers, along the identified routes, including trenchless river crossings and deep sections of pipeline (>6m to invert).— Provision of all ancillary facilities required to ensure a fully functional facility— Provision of appropriate and sensitive landscaping at the project sites— Operation and maintenance of pumping stations for a period of 12 months from commissioning.— Undertake role of PSDP— Undertake role of PSCS.

A pre-qualification questionnaire will be issued to all candidates who respond to this notice. Expressions of interest should be addressed in writing and sent via email for the attention of The Shared Services Procurement Manager to tenders@ervia.ie

The Questionnaire will cover the financial, economic and technical capacity of candidates. The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 12:00 Monday 25.4.2016. The responses will be used to assist in drawing up a tender list. This process may also include interviews with candidates. The contracting entity will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers relating to this contract award procedure.
