Supply, Installation, Maintenance and Advertising Rights related to Bus Shelters

National Transport Authority

Currently 1 843 shelters are maintained by Bus Átha Cliath (Dublin Bus) and Bus Éireann. The National Transport Authority (‘Authority’) intends to enter into an agreement for the maintenance of these existing bus shelters, the provision of additional bus shelters, the provision of additional advertising media at existing bus shelters (including digital advertising media), the provision of advertising media at new bus shelters and the exploitation of such advertising media by way of sale of advertising rights for both existing and additional bus shelters. Tenderers should note that the Authority retains the right to exclude bus shelters (including existing bus shelters) from this Contract as its sole discretion.
The Contract will also provide for the potential installation (at the Authority's absolute discretion) of additional advertising panels at non-bus shelter locations and the exploitation of such advertising media by way of sale of advertising rights.
