The purpose of this RFT is the provision and administration of Mortgage
Protection Insurance(MPI) Scheme (providing Death & Disability Benefits for
Local Authority Borrowers).
The Services comprise:
(i) A fully underwritten mortgage protection insurance scheme for persons who
avail of house purchase loan finance from local authorities and to cover the
rental equity portion of Shared Ownership Schemes, and;
(ii) Oversight, administration and management of the scheme to include;
— Premium collections and management;
— Claims management;
— Liaison with Local Authorities on all matters as they relate to operation and
administration of the scheme.
