Procedure
Minimum number of candidates: 5
Maximum number of candidates: 7
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) do not know at this stage of the process the quantity or quality of PQQ submissions that it will receive in response to this call for competition. IÉ are seeking to engage with companies who have previously undertaken work of a similar nature on rolling stock and who will utilise proven hardware with minimal design work required to transfer the product to the IÉ rolling stock fleet. It is therefore hoped that, if required, a short-list of the most suitable candidates will be selected from the submissions received when scored against the advertised selection criteria which will be published in the PQQ which will be issued to all companies who express an interest in participating.
