Dublin City Council has initiated this competition for the Appointment of Suppliers
to a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Sand, Aggregate, and
Crushed Stone etc.. to Dublin City Council. The Multi-Party Framework
Agreement Period will be for three years approximately to June 2019 with an
option to extend by a further 12 months.
At least every 12 months a mini-competition will be sent out to the tenderers
admitted to the Framework Agreement. The City Council is unable to state the
quantity of any product that will be required for the duration of this framework but
on average annually 235 000 EUR was spent on of Sand, Aggregate, Crushed Stone
etc..

The tenderer(s) who has submitted a responsive tender and have passed the
selection criteria and have submitted Pricing Schedule will be considered for
admission to the Framework for the Supply of Supply of Sand, Aggregate,
Crushed Stone etc... for Dublin City Council. The appointment to the Framework
Agreement will be based on price only. The lowest 12 tenders for each material
will be admitted to the Framework Agreement.

2. It will be a condition for the award of any contract that the successful Tenderer and all sub-contractors (if applicable) produce a valid Tax Clearance Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners in compliance with Circular (43) 2006 (or as amended) and that the certificate will be maintained for the duration of the contract and will be on a 12 month basis. In the case of a non-resident Tenderer, a statement of suitability from the Revenue Commissioners will be required.

6. The Framework Agreement is primarily for use by the Environment and Transportation Department, but may also be extended for use by other divisions of Dublin City Council as requirements arise.
