It is proposed that the Multi-Contractor Framework Agreement scope of works will include but will not be limited to (non-exhaustive list):
โ€” Remove timber related safety hazards which may present a danger to members of the public or to ESB staff;
โ€” Prevent physical damage to Overhead Network.
It comprises planned timber cutting and associated works under the following headings:
โ€” 38kV: 3 year cycle;
โ€” 10/20kV: Rural Network, 3 year cycle;
โ€” Low Voltage: Rural Network, 6 year cycle;
โ€” 10/20kV: Urban Network, 4 year cycle;
โ€” Low Voltage: Urban Network, 4 year cycle.
It also includes unplanned/response driven timber cutting and associated works for:
โ€” New Works-timber clearance and associated works;
โ€” Hazards on existing Network (not on the current programme cycle);
โ€” Forestry-line related;
โ€” MV Live Line-timber clearance + associated works;
โ€” Emergency response e.g. storm;
โ€” Transmission-timber clearance + associated works;
โ€” Project related works.
