The Department of Radiology in Beaumont Hospital requires the provision of 2 high end range ultrasound systems. In first instance, a managed equipment service contract of 5 years' duration will be entered into with the successful tenderer, encompassing the provision of 2 high end range ultrasound machines, the delivery of initial and ongoing training and the provision of all required support and maintenance. Following the expiry of the initial 5 year managed equipment service contract, subsequent 1-year contracts for the support and maintenance of the systems in question may be awarded until the obsolescence of the equipment. In addition to the core managed equipment service contract relating to the provision of 2 high end range ultrasound machines, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to procure additional ultrasound equipment from the successful tenderer at any point during the initial 5-year contract period.
