Invitation to tender for a single party Framework agreement for the supply of Class โ€˜Bโ€™ fire appliances to Dublin Fire Brigade

Dublin City Council

Dublin City Council proposes to set up a single party framework agreement for
the purchase of Firefighting water tender appliances over a four year period from
2016 to 2020. The framework agreement will be renewed annually subject to
satisfactory contractor performance. Two appliances will be ordered immediately
following the award of the contract โ€” there will be further ordering during the
period of the Framework but quantities cannot be predicted. This RFT applies to
Medium Class Pumping Appliances (Class B Appliances) โ€” as defined in I.S. EN
1846 โ€” operating within urban and rural districts, both on and off road and at
speed. The minimum required life span of the fire appliance is 15 years. The
appliance will spend most of its life in a laden condition and the design must take
this into account.

Deadline

The time limit for receipt of tenders was 2016-03-22. The procurement was published on 2016-02-05.
