The vertical transportation services at the new Curragh Racecourse development comprise of the following;
i) Passenger Lift Services
— 1 No. VIP 1 000 kg 13-person
— 1 No. Public lift 1 000 kg 13-person.
— 1 No. Public passenger lift 1 275 kg 17 person
ii) Goods Lift Services
— 1 No. dirty goods lift 1 400 kg
— 1 No. clean goods lift 5 000 kg.
Five escalators shall also be provided, 2 No. serving level 00 and level 01, 2 No. serving level 01 and level 02 and 1 No. serving level 02 and 03.
Note the following specialist contractor's design responsibilities;
— Lift specialist to verify lift performance is in accordance with the detailed specification based on their product specific data; detailed design of lift assembly and component design required in accordance with IS EN 81.

Interested parties should refer to RFT ID 109824, 109837, 109838, 110103, 110108, 110109, 110110 for information in relation to the main works contract and remaining specialist works contracts. 3) The Contracting Authority will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers. 4) Establishment of this contract will be subject to the approval of the competent authorities. 5) It will be a condition of establishment that candidates and all sub-contractors produce a valid tax clearance certificate from the Irish Revenue Commissioners as part of their application for participation in the competition. 6) If for any reason it is not possible to award the contract to the successful tenderer following conclusion of this competitive process, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to award the contract to the contract to the next highest scoring tenderer.
