Supply and Delivery of Velocity Patching Unit
Tenders are invited for the supply and delivery to the Machinery Yard, Sheahans' Road, Newcastle West, of 1 no. self propelled velocity patcher, the G.V.W. of the vehicle to be not less than 26 t.
All equipment shall be new and unused. The Republic of Ireland shall be the first country of registration for the vehicle. The vehicles shall comply in all respects with the Road Traffic Acts, 1961 to 1994 and with all Regulations made under those Acts, including the Road Traffic (Lighting of Vehicles) Regulations, 1963 to 1996, and the Road Traffic (Construction, Equipment and Use of Vehicles) Regulations, 1963 to 1997. All equipment (including instrumentation and lights) shall comply with all relevant current Irish and E.U. standards and legislation. The supplier shall maintain a stock of spare parts in a depot in Ireland. The vehicle and patching unit shall be suitable for working in an outdoor environment in Irish climatic conditions.
