Single Party Framework Agreement for the Supply of Cold Applied Overbanding, Crack and Joint Sealing Material for Roads

Dublin City Council proposes to enter into an initial contract for a period of 1 year with the preferred single service provider. This contract is for the supply and delivery of cold applied overbanding and crack and joint sealing material for use on roads by Road Maintenance Services in Dublin City Council. The material will be used for reinstatement joints, repair of cracks and fretted joints. The delivery will be made to Dublin City Council Road Maintenance depots in Marrowbone Lane and Collins Avenue which are located within the Dublin City Council Administrative area. All deliveries have to be made within 25 days of ordering. The product shall be cold liquid applied, fast curing resin and when applied to a road with a graded aggregate to provide a sufficient skid resistance. Dublin City Council has only used a hot poured measures to carry out such works as described in the past and can only estimate that there will be a spend of between 90 000 EUR to 100 000 EUR annually.
