The objective of this Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) process is to produce a short-list of suitably qualified companies who will be invited to tender for the provision of Internal Audit Support Services.
EirGrid envisages qualifying up to 6 Candidates from this pre-qualification process, subject to the quality of responses received. Only one company will be awarded the final contract.
The contract will be awarded for a period of two years with an option to extend annually for up to an additional 24 months, subject always to the satisfactory performance of the successful suppliers. While it is intended to use this contract for the procurement of requirements falling within its scope during its lifetime, EirGrid reserves the right to conduct a separate competition for the procurement of any requirement.
EirGrid are seeking to secure support for the Head of Internal Audit and Compliance to undertake audits under his direction, to prepare draft audit reports and advice on internal audit matters in EirGrid.
The Internal Audit work must conform to the guidance issued in the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies and the standards set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (UK & Ireland).
