The purpose of this tender is to invite applications to deliver Wave 3 and the Option to deliver Wave 4 of IDS-TILDA over the next 3 year cycle and a further 3 year cycle for the Option linked to Wave 4. The IDS-TILDA study represents a critical source of evidence to assist policy makers and programme planners to better understand ageing for people with intellectual disability in Ireland across time and across a large number of domains. The goal of this next phase of IDS-TILDA is to continue the steady-state longitudinal data collection, building on previous Waves 1 and 2, to: โ guide future planning, policies and services in ageing and disability in Ireland; โ to propose enhancements and/or additions to the content, measures and methods used in previous waves of IDS-TILDA, where appropriate; โ serve as a driver and facilitator of other innovative research sub-studies; โ develop linkages and harmonisation efforts to enable comparative analyses with national and international partners working in the area of disability and ageing; โ enhance public access to data from Wave 3 and 4 of IDS-TILDA.
