Kildare County Council

Kildare County Council (Contracting Authority) plans to carry out public realm improvement schemes in a number of towns throughout County Kildare over the coming years. In order to assist with the design and delivery of these schemes it is proposed to establish a Framework Agreement for Urban Designers. This will be established for a maximum 4-year period. Kildare County Council will draw down services from this Framework Agreement as and when required. Kildare County Council is currently developing proposals for public realm improvement works to Emily Square in Athy. The Emily Square project will also be used as the initial project for the purposes of establishing the Framework Agreement and Kildare County Council intends to award this services contract as the initial contract under the Framework Agreement.

Submissions should be addressed to the County Secretary, Kildare County Council, Corporate Services, Level 1, Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare. 3. The outside of all envelopes and packaging containing submissions should also be marked ‘Submission for Framework Agreement for Urban Designers — Kildare County Council’ and should feature the name and address of the company making the submission. 4. Last time and date for receipt of submissions is 12:00 noon on Tuesday the 1.12.2015. 5. Kildare County Council will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers in response to this competition. 6. Establishment of the framework agreement will be subject to the approval of the competent authorities. 7. If for any reason it is not possible to conclude the framework agreement with the successful tenderer designate emerging from this competitive process, or if having concluded the framework agreement Kildare County Council decides to terminate that agreement, the Council reserves the right to admit the next highest scoring tenderer to the framework agreement on the basis of the same terms and as tendered by that party, at any time during the tender validity period. 8. At its absolute discretion, Kildare County Council may elect to terminate this procurement process or the concluded framework at any time. 9.
