Establishment of European reshoring monitor

Eurofound — European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions

The objective of the European reshoring monitor will be to capture structured information on individual reshoring cases (‘reshoring fiches’) and provide regular reporting on the phenomenon of reshoring in the EU, on the kinds of activities involved, the reasons for the reshoring of the production in question and the employment consequences of reshoring decisions.
The European reshoring monitor initiative is 1 element of a pilot project entitled ‘Future of manufacturing in Europe’ which was entrusted to Eurofound for implementation by the European Commission.
