Irish Rugby Football Union

The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) is the Governing Body for Rugby Union in Ireland. It is responsible for the Irish national team, the 4 provincial teams and 224 clubs. It is also responsible for the development of the sport in schools, colleges and clubs. It is one of the member unions of World Rugby (formally the International Rugby Board (IRB)).
The IRFU has decided to make a bid to World Rugby to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup on the Island of Ireland. The bid is being supported by the Irish Government and the Northern Ireland Executive.
The IRFU has identified that they will require a Bid Advisory / Bid Co-ordination & Management Services provider to assist them in the development and implementation of a bid strategy, the technical aspects of the bid process and the production of bid documentation.
The Bid Advisory / Bid Co-ordination & Management Services provider will assist the IRFU in developing its bid.
pre-qualification process is intended to produce a short-list of potential service providers who have the necessary skills, expertise and experience to provide the Services.
The IRFU shall engage pre-qualified shortlisted applicants in a dialogue to establish potential Models for the provision of the Services.
A Request for Tenders, based on the information gathered during the supplier dialogue shall be issued to the short-listed applicants.
