2-Photon Laser Lithography System

National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI Galway)

A medical device research centre, based in NUI Galway, is to be established as part of a major Irish Government investment in science and technology through Science Foundation Ireland. The prime objective for CรšRAM will be to radically improve health outcomes for patients by developing innovative implantable medical devices to treat major unmet medical needs. Projects will involve the, generation of complex three-dimensional structures in photosensitive polymers. To meet our requirements we require a turn-key laser based 2-photon laser lithography system for a multi user environment that is capable of fabricating complex 3D structures in common commercially available photoresist formulations. It must be capable of fabricating structures with lateral dimensions of approx. 200 nm. The system should be capable of writing over field areas of 100 x 100 x 0.5 mm and it must also have dedicated direct-write photolithography capability for 2D mask generation. Full details of requirements are contained in the Invitation to Tender document available from the etenders website. Candidates must โ€˜acceptโ€™ the invitation to be given access to the tender documents.
