Two Single Party Framework Agreements for the Provision of Legal Services
Limerick City and County Council wishes to establish 2 single party framework agreements, each of a duration up to 6 years, for the provision of legal services, including advice and representation, in a number of areas related to its operations. The estimated annual expenditure on legal services is in the range of EUR 400,000 - EUR 500,000 per annum. It is anticipated that the expenditure will be divided equally over both lots. Limerick City and County Council wishes to have access to legal expertise and representation, as set out below. The frameworks will be established in 2 lots:
Lot 1 - Specialised Operations.
This lot comprises the provision of legal advice and services relating to Landlord and Tenant Law, Code Enforcement, Acquisition and Disposal of Property and Land, Property Leasing, Licences and Financial Collection Services.
Lot 2 - General Local Government Legal Advisory Services.
This lot comprises the provision of legal services relating to General Planning and Environmental Law, Corporate Law, Employment Law, Procurement Law, Litigation, Contract Law and all aspects of Irish and EU law, Statutory Instruments, Regulations and the Local Government Acts.
Applicants may apply for 1 or both of these lots by completing the Qualification Questionnaire, whilst identifying the lots of interest to them. Applicants applying for both lots duly indicated, may complete and submit a single Qualification Questionnaire, noting that evidence of previous contracts must be provided for both lots 1 and 2 separately.
The above requirement represents the current anticipated range of legal services required by Limerick City and County Council during the operation of the proposed frameworks. However, due to on-going review and development of services provided by Limerick City and County Council, it is expected that additional legal services requirements may arise during that period, thereby further expanding the possible value of the frameworks.
Further information on the scope of services is provided for in the Qualification Questionnaire which is available for download from
