St Vincent's University Hospital

The equipment tendered must be technologically advanced and must be capable of performing high quality diagnostic imaging for Cardiac Investigation applications in adults. The intended use of this device will be within the immediate environs of a Cardiology Department but may also be used at the bedside. Therefore, mobility, the storage of images, and the easy ability to transfer images to a Cardiology Reporting and Management package and/or database are essential issues for consideration. Image quality shall be at the highest possible level and is a critical part of the requirements. The tendered system must be capable of receiving "work lists", which contain the patient demographics from the Cardiology CVIS system currently in use in the Cardiology Department. The system must also be capable of interfacing with a digital archiving & reporting system such as Xcelera, which is the cardiology reporting system currently used in St Vincent's University Hospital, it must be capable of transferring all images and measurements made on the scanner.
