Title of the lot: Hydrogeologist (Groundwater Resource/Protection Mapping) and Project Management Services
Short description:
The Groundwater Mapping and Characterisation Project require a consultant hydrogeologist who will work with the GSI to develop, undertake and supervise the project. The tasks will include: undertaking and supervising hydrogeological mapping and characterisation; reviewing how hydrogeological and geological processes influence permeability and porosity of aquifers and subsoil deposits/geomorphological landforms; development of extrapolation methods/predictive modelling in order to assign likely hydrgeological parameters and characteristics to other, similar areas. The position will include a project management role in terms of both technical (robust deliverables, quality and consistency) and management (time and budget) oversight. It is envisaged that the role will also include significant interaction with stakeholders as required, especially during any project development, data collection, fieldwork and data dissemination phases.
