The Agreement shall commence upon the Commencement Date and shall continue in full force and effect for a period of 1 Year (the ‘Initial Term’) thereafter unless the Agreement has previously been terminated in accordance with the terms hereof. Prior to the expiry of the Initial Term, IE may at its absolute discretion decide to extend the Agreement for further consecutive periods of 1 Year each, (the ‘Extended Term’), subject to a maximum of 2 such extensions and Provided that the maximum term of this Agreement howsoever arising shall be 3 Years (the ‘Maximum Term’). Any extension of the Initial Term that may be granted by IE shall be at IE's sole discretion and the Contractor shall have no entitlement thereto.
