P1726 - Supply of computing devices
The scope of the daa's requirements in the context of this RFI are:
1 - Laptops computers.
2 - Desktop computers.
3 - Thin client desktop devices.
4 - Tablets (supporting IOS, Windows, Android).
5 - Standalone servers.
6 - Warrantee, ongoing support and account management of each class of devices which are included in the proceeding points 1-7.
The RFI will be consequently separated into 6 Lots each of which will reflect the different category of devices which are required by the daa. Vendors will have the opportunity to submit their interest in tendering for individual lots or multiple lots.
Vendors will be asked to clearly state which Lots they are interested in tendering for should the DAA proceed to the RFP stage.
Vendors who qualify to proceed to the tender will expect to complete a detailed RFP and be able to demonstrate cost effectiveness, expertise and experience in the supply and support of these devices into a large, diverse and regulated environment.
The purchase of the equipment list above will be via a framework agreement which DAA expect to utilise across all IT Services.
Vendors should also be aware that the DAA is presently reviewing its approach to the secure and environmentally appropriate disposal of electronic devices as stated in point 1 to 5. DAA may decide to request that vendors who have progressed to the RFP stage of this tender process to include such services as part of any ensuing agreement should they be awarded the contract.
