This tender extends to student and staff dining, corporate dining, function catering and the specific requirements for each segment must be catered for. The provision of a healthy, nutritious and quality food offer is essential to the well โ€“being of the campus community. A further consideration is the growing international community with diverse tastes coupled with a general student body which require wholesome food within a restricted budget.
There are four cafรฉ /restaurants included in this tender and the breakdown between staff and student facilities are included in the individual descriptions hereunder as well as the cash turnover associated with each premises. The President's dining and functions are in addition. In respect of the President's private dining, the indicative spend is included and it should be noted that this is a non- exclusive arrangement. The venues dedicated for functions are described and the turnover done by the incumbent is included. Other campus caterers, operating under different tenders, also provide function catering services in these venues and will continue to do so.
