N56 Boyoughter to Kilkenny Road Scheme

The Contract comprises the execution and completion of the N56 Boyoughter to Kilkenny Road Scheme, including without limitation, the provision of:
— On-line improvements and off-line realignment of approximately 4.95 kilometres of sub-standard national secondary road to the standard of Type 3 single carriageway (T3SC) national secondary road, together with the provision of a segregated cycle facility;
— Realignment of various single carriageway local roads;
— Various Minor Structures necessary as part of the Design and the Works including retaining walls and structures, culverts, petrol interceptors;
— Various earthwork Works, including areas of very soft ground, hard rock and works within a lake footprint;
— Various major/minor priority junctions;
— Various direct accesses and access tracks;
— Various chambers and ducting Works to be undertaken at various locations within the Site including those suitable for use by the Authorities, Utilities and Service Providers and Private Utility Services;
— Various landscape, environmental and mitigation Works;
— Various culverting and re-alignment of river streams and the provision of drainage outfalls;
— Various fencing, safety barrier systems and drainage Works;
— Various signing, road marking and lighting Works;
— Various Works including diversions of the assets of the Authorities, Utilities and Service Providers and Private Utility Services;
— Various Accommodation Works including accesses to properties and lands; and
— Various ancillary Works.
