Dublin City Council (DCC) in conjunction with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council proposes to establish and operate a Multi Party Framework Agreement with multiple operators for Carrying out Roadworks in a City and Suburban Environment within the Dublin City Council and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Administrative Areas. Contracts could vary from EUR0.5 to less than EUR5.0m (incl. VAT). Works could involve some of the following activities: — Installation of ducts, — Roadway repairs (flexible and rigid), — Footway repairs & refurbishment (incld. of flags and concrete), — Resurfacing (associated with the work), — Granite work, — Installation of gullies, manhole and chambers, — Pipelaying, — Diversion of services, — Road widening, — Traffic management, — Installation of PL columns, — Installation of tactiles and dishing, — Road markings, — Installing of traffic islands, — Installing bollards, pedestrian barriers, street furniture etc., — Diversion of services, — Construction of walls and related works, — Traffic Signal Improvement, — Trial Holes/Site Investigations, — Watermain upgrading, —Upgrade of Bus Stops. Dublin City Council (DCC) is the central purchasing body within the meaning of Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and Council. DCC enters into this Framework Agreement on its own behalf and on behalf of Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown County Council (DLRCC) who may wish to procure works as described above in accordance with the Framework Agreement. Dublin City Council and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council are known as the “Contracting Authorities" or “Framework Purchasers” or “Employers” DCC will establish the Framework Agreement on behalf of all the contracting authorities.
