This framework agreement is proposed to be awarded for a one year period initially to cover 2014/2015 (expected to commence Q3 2014). Dublin City Council reserves the option to renew the contract for three further periods of one year each to cover 2015/2016, 2016/2017/ and 2017/2108. This framework agreement is for the supply/delivery of Medical Goods to Dublin Fire Brigade to stock their ambulances to enable them to continue to provide the pre-hospital emergency medical service for the city and counties of Dublin, and to supply / replenish all other Dublin City Council departments / sections with First Aid equipment / consumables see Appendix A for full list of delivery locations.Fingal County Council, Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council and South Dublin County Council are also eligible to use these arrangements. The uptake of services and the timing of same will be at the discretion of each local authority. No obligation will exist for any contracting authority to place orders through this contract. Clients are not and will not be under any obligation to avail of the service provision, if any, pursuant to this competition.
