Kevin Street Garda Divisional HQ – Phase 2 – Electrical Specialist Prequalification
The works will consist of the construction of a new 6,840sqm Garda Divisional Headquarters building adjacent to the existing Kevin Street Garda station, which is a Protected Structure (formerly called St. Sepulchre's Palace), with a 5,400 sqm double basement, The development consists of a 2-3 storey building with flat roofs along the west boundary; a 5 storey building with flat roof and curved street elevation along the east boundary and a connecting glazed atrium with a mono-pitch glass roof.
The electrical services installation shall include liaison with utility companies, the provision of a 10/20kv installation which includes cast resin transformer and 10/20 kv switch gear and 10/20 kv cabling. A 400/230 volt 50 Hz. distribution network which incorporates Main Switchgear / power factor correction and sub distribution switchgear, sub main cabling systems installed on cable trays/ladders. Diesel oil generator set, oil storage tank and intake and exhaust systems.
Electrical power cabling and wiring for HVAC control devices and pumping systems. General lighting and emergency lighting.
General services wiring systems and single / three phase power for miscellaneous equipment. Under floor cabling systems for floor outlet service boxes.
Customer premises IT cabling systems to support information technology and communication infrastructure.
Security systems for CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Access Control systems and Fire detection systems. External lightning protection and bonding.
