The Contracting Authority is seeking to establish an integrated Client Team for the development of an Interpretive Centre at Pearse's Cottage in Inbhear, Rosmuc, Co. Galway. The integrated team must comprise the following disciplines: (a) Project Management and Employer's Representative (lead) (b) Quantity Surveying and (c) Project Supervisor for the Design Process Only those Candidates capable of delivering all of the services listed above (whether in-house or as a grouping/consortium) will be considered. Therefore, applications relating to one or several of these disciplines only are not acceptable and will be rejected. The Client Team will be responsible for providing all necessary technical advice and services to the Contracting Authority in respect of the entire project right through from preliminary appraisal to the completion and handover of the works to the client. The Client Team will also assist the Contracting Authority in the preparation of tendering documentation for the appointment of a design team and the provision of employer representative services during the construction phase of the project. Since the Client Team will be responsible for preparing the brief for the design team as well as evaluating the proposal received, the successful Client Team will not be permitted to tender for the Design Team contract in order to avoid any potential conflict of interest.
