#IAUF1 - Framework Agreement for a range of Auditing & Accountancy Support Services

The Minister for Justice & Equality in conjunction with the Government Chief Procurement Officer invites tender submissions from suitably qualified organisations for appointment to a Framework Agreement for a range of Auditing & Accountancy Support Services. A non-exhaustive list of the type of financial service to be sourced from framework members is shown below:
1. Auditing Services i.e. Internal Audit services or occasional Statutory Audit. The audit work sourced via this framework will primarily be internal audit work. Generally, this will involve small to medium scale audit assignments which may range from one to several days or weeks duration, working to a defined Terms of Reference. In such instances, the Auditing Service Provider will be expected to
work on their own initiative and present a final draft report to the Head of Internal Audit for agreement and sign-off. The Auditing Service Provider will manage the delivery of the auditing assignment and ensure it meets the required professional and ethical standards;
2. Accountancy Services (e.g. accounts preparation, advice on accounting, taxation and audit issues, forensic accounting, insolvency, examinership, debt management, management consultancy, training).
3. A placement, working within the Internal Audit /Accounting Units of Government Departments and associated offices (and at the direction of the Head of Internal Audit /Head of Financial Management in that Organisation), for periods of up to 3 months or 6 months in duration; and
4. Any other ad hoc auditing/accountancy services to be drawn down from time to time as required, at the discretion of the Contracting Authority.
