Framework for ESB Wind Farms Electrical Balance of Plant

ESB &/or its Subsidiaries, Associates & Joint Venture Partnerships (hereinafter referred to as ESB)

ESB plans to develop up to 12 wind farms (up to circa 300 MW - with the potential that this may extend to 500 MW - in aggregate) in the period from Q4, 2014 to Q4, 2019.
The potential scale of these individual windfarm developments is that they are expected to typically range between 15 MW & 50 MW.
This call for competition is to establish a framework agreement. The scope of work envisaged for this framework agreement includes design, civil and electrical works (connected at MV to HV) for ESB's wind farm projects during the tenure of the framework term.
The framework term will be a maximum of 5 years, comprised of a 3 year initial term with the right to extend to by a further 2 years at the discretion of ESB.
