Establishment of 10 (ten) Multi-Operator Framework Agreements for Telecare Equipment in connection with the Seniors Alert Scheme

Pobal have been contracted by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government to manage the administration of the Seniors Alert Scheme from 2015. The objective of the Scheme is to encourage community support and social inclusion for vulnerable older people in the Republic of Ireland, with one of the strands of activity covering the provision of assistance towards the purchase and installation of monitored personal alarms to enable older people without sufficient means to continue to live securely in their homes with confidence, independence and peace of mind.
With this competition, Pobal wishes to establish 10 (ten) multi-operator framework agreements for the supply, delivery, installation and warranty of telecare equipment in connection with the Seniors Alert Scheme, including Base Units and Personal alarm pendants/triggers.
The requirements are divided into 10 (ten) regional lots as follows:
โ€” Lot 1 Galway;
โ€” Lot 2 Mayo and Sligo;
โ€” Lot 3 Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Louth, Monaghan and Roscommon;
โ€” Lot 4 Cork;
โ€” Lot 5 Clare, Kerry and Limerick;
โ€” Lot 6 Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford;
โ€” Lot 7 Dublin South Central, South East City, South Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown;
โ€” Lot 8 Dublin North Central, North West, Central area and Fingal;
โ€” Lot 9 Kildare, Laois, Meath and Wicklow;
โ€” Lot 10 Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.
Interested parties may apply to a maximum number of 3 (three) lots overall.
Each framework agreement will be established with 5 (five) operators, subject to the receipt of a sufficient number of valid tenders.
