DCU-13115-S - Provision of Consultancy Services for the Implementation Phase of Dublin City University's Incorporation Project

Dublin City University (DCU) invites expressions of interest from competent parties for the provision of consultancy and programme management services in relation to the Implementation Phase of the Incorporation Project to ensure that this significant Project is successfully implemented within the envisaged timeline. DCU has been in discussion with St Patrick College Drumcondra (SPD), the Mater Dei Institute of Education (MDI) and the Church of Ireland College of Education (CICE) and the parties have become engaged in a formal process which, while respecting the identity of the individual institutions, will lead to the creation of a single University entity. With the incorporation of SPD, MDI and CICE into DCU. This new DCU will establish a new Institute of Education and will lead to an enhanced capacity and consolidation in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The new Institute of Education will be the fifth faculty of DCU. This new DCU will operate from the existing SPD Drumcondra Campus and the existing DCU Glasnevin Campus. Both campuses will be multi discipline campuses. It is envisaged that this incorporation project will be fully complete by 2016 with a number of key milestones to be achieved during the implementation project.
Phase 1, the planning phase of the project is nearing completion and has been in progress for a number of months and it is envisaged that the implementation phase, the subject matter of this contract notice will commence on 1.5.2014.

Information about review deadlines:
