The Contracting Enity proposes awarding a contract for Supply of Air Belllows to all Bus Eireann sites nationwide over a 3 year period. The Contracting Entity reserves the right to extend this contract for a further period/s of up to 24 months. The purpose of this Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is to obtain sufficient information to enable the Contracting Entity to evaluate the suitability of applicants with the necessary resources and capacity to achieve the contract objectives. This will be a negotiated procedure. It is the intention of the Contracting Authority to award this contract to one supplier. If this is not feasible the contract may be awarded to more than one supplier.
In order to be considered for participation in a tendering competition for this contract(s) suitably qualified interested parties must complete and submit the pre- qualification questionnaire provided.
Depending on the quality of pre-qualification details submitted, Bus Eireann may invite between five and eight entities to participate in a tendering competition for the contract(s)
If a request to participate is submitted by a group of suppliers, then those suppliers, if awarded the contract shall assume such legal form by incorporation, partnership, or otherwise so as to enable them to contract as a single entity. It will be necessary for the satisfactory performance of the contract for the group to state a single addressee responsible for the receipt and processing of the participating orders and resolving any problems relating to the contract.
