National Roads Authority

The National Roads Authority is seeking to appoint a single banking provider for the provision of its transaction banking services to meet its business requirements.
The service provider must be licensed pursuant to section 9 of the Central Bank Act, 1971 to carry on banking business in Ireland or be a subsidiary or branch of an international bank, operating in Ireland or included in the Central Bank of Ireland's list of credit institutions authorised to carry on banking business in Ireland under EU Directive (2006/48/EEC).
The services include:
โ€” Maintenance of current and deposit accounts;
โ€” Performing funds transfers and payments authorised by a full range of electronic and paper payment instruments; and
โ€” Accepting and clearing of incoming payments, including electronic and paper instruments, and currency notes and coin.
The banking services contract will commence within 6 months of the award date, will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years, at the discretion of the Authority.
