Banking and Money Transmission Services

ESB invites qualified companies to submit expressions of interest to supply banking, cash management, cash pooling and money transmission services, with associated online transactional and reporting services.The tender will consist of 3 Lots as described below. Please specify clearly which Lot or Lots you wish to express an interest in.The duration of the contract for each lot will be 3 years with the option to extend by up to 4 years.ESB's assessment of all submitted Expressions of Interest will produce a shortlist of suppliers who will receive an invitation to tender.Lot 1:Lot 1 is concerned with supporting the requirements of ESB and its subsidiary activities in ROI and UK (excluding Northern Ireland Electricity) to include:1) Provision of multi-currency banking, cash management and cash pooling services to support, inter alia: retail receipts, commercial receipts, supplier & customer payments, staff payments and treasury management2) Provision of money transmission services including electronic funds transfer systems, bulk payment file transfer capabilities, SEPA direct debit processing, and cheque processing3) Provision of real-time, online data and reporting relating to the services detailed above.4) Integration with ESB's Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) and Treasury Management Systems.Lot 2:Lot 2 is concerned with supporting the requirements of Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) to include:1) Provision of multi-currency banking, cash management and cash pooling services to support: customer receipts, supplier & customer payments, staff payments and treasury management – predominantly GBP.2) Provision of money transmission services including electronic funds transfer systems, bulk payment file transfer capabilities and cheque processing.3) Provision of real-time, online data and reporting relating to the services detailed above.4) Integration with NIE's SAP Systems.Lot 3:Lot 3 is concerned with supporting the requirements of ESB International (ESBI) in its overseas locations, outside of ROI & UK, to include:1) Provision of multi-currency banking, cash management and cash pooling (where feasible) services in a number of overseas jurisdictions. ESBI currently has operations in the following locations: Turkey, Oman, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Bahrain, Tanzania, Malaysia, Vietnam, Pakistan. In addition, operations may be expanded to other locations including but not restricted to: Botswana, Ghana, UAE, Poland, Cyprus, Qatar, Malawi, Namibia, Zambia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia.2) Provision of real-time, online data and reporting relating to the services detailed above.3) Provision of working capital and guarantee facilities.4) Provision of money transmission services including electronic funds transfer systems, bulk payment file transfer capabilities and cheque processing.5) Integration with ESB's Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) and Treasury Management Systems. This is not an immediate requirement, but may become a requirement over the lifetime of the contract.
