The Hospital Procurement Services Group invites applications from suitably qualified insurers for inclusion in a select list that will be invited to tender.
The following information should be provided by the insurer to the Hospital Procurement Services Group: Certificate indicating the type of insurance activities they are competent to engage in, issued by the relevant authority.
Legal form to be taken by the group of economic operators to whom the contract is to be awarded: Joint and Several Liability.
Execution of the service is reserved to a particular profession:
Insurers must be authorised by the Irish Financial Regulator under the terms of the European Communities (Non Life Insurance) Regulations 1994 (statutory Instrument No 359 of 1994) to carry on Non Life business in Ireland. Insurers must be authorised to underwrite the classes of insurance referred to in "Description of Contract".
