UCDOPP516 - Establishment of a Single Operator Framework Agreement for an Integrated Architecturally led design team for the UCD Science Centre and other similar University campus facilities
UCD wishes to establish a single party framework agreement as part of this tender process for a fully integrated Architect–led Design Team for the UCD Science Centre and other similar University facilities. The Design Team must include the following disciplines/services:
1. Architectural Services (including PSDP and Fire Safety Advisory Services);
2. Quantity Surveying Services;
3. Buildings Services Engineers;
4. Civil & Structural Engineering Services.
Note: Only those Applicants capable of delivering all of the services listed above (whether in-house or as a grouping/consortium) will be considered. Partial applications or applications from individual disciplines cannot be accepted.
As part of the framework agreement, it is envisaged that existing University science and engineering facilities will be refurbished and that as part of an overall masterplan, additional new facilities may be constructed in due course. UCD reserves the right to assign/novate the framework agreement and/or any call-off contract to a wholly owned subsidiary of UCD.
UCD reserves the right to engage the appointed Framework Contractor (or elements thereof) for other similar type campus-based facilities upgrades and/or developments (for example; scientific laboratory, data centre, office, classroom, social and other teaching, research, innovation and public engagement support facilities) over the lifetime of the Framework Agreement.
