The objective for An Garda Síochána in undertaking this procurement process is to ensure the most economical supply of Multi-Tenancy Voice Recording System to Garda Headquarters and Cork University Hospital An Garda Síochána and the National Ambulance Service in collaboration with CMOD, a subsection of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, have undertaken the
installation of a centralised communications and control system for handling emergency calls and dispatching on the Tetra Radio System. The DS2000 ICCS supplied by Capita has been selected as the communications platform for use by both agencies and will be expected to host other emergency response agencies that migrate to the National Digital Radio System.
The centralised ICCS will be hosted in two sites, Garda Headquarters and Cork University Hospital, with regional Control Rooms accessing the ICCS system using Customer computers. This competitive request for tender is for the supply of a multi-tenancy voice recording system located in both sites:
