The Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) is an Irish state body established under the Transport (Railway Infrastructure) Act 2001. RPA's objectives include delivering light railway (โLuas'), โBus Rapid Transit' (BRT) and other projects and systems. In November 2012 the Government approved RPA's plans to commence Luas Cross City (LCC) project procurement and construction works during 2013. RPA recently awarded contracts for enabling works in advance of the main infrastructure construction works on the LCC project. Enabling works are expected to commence during the summer of 2013. RPA reserves the right to disqualify any group or consortium which makes changes to the composition of the group after pre-qualification without the consent of RPA.
